1. Slide AND hold down on the release button AND,

at the same time, pull down on the lancet device

to remove it from the meter.

2. Attach the lancet device by lining up the notches

and sliding it until it locks into place. The lancet

device locks easily into place.

Preparing the ACCU-CHEK Softclix Plus Lancet Device

for Non-Fingertip Testing

Use a new lancet for each non-fingertip test to avoid infection and get a virtually

pain-free test. Remember to use the clear cap to do a non-fingertip test.

Remember, you can use your lancet device attached to the meter or unattached.
